Prasann Thatte

Prasann is a senior professional with close to 27 years of experience in development management, specifically in the domain of Social Research, Monitoring and Evaluation. In his last full-time assignment, he worked with American India Foundation as Technical Advisor (MERL), where as a part of the India Leadership Team, he led a 6-member core team and oversaw evaluation activities across India worth over INR 5 crore annually. In the past, he has held leadership positions in impact measurement, research and knowledge management at Project Concern International (2019-25), Reliance Foundation (2017-19), Aga Khan Foundation India (2016) and Save the Children (2012-16). As the Head (M&E) at Reliance Foundation, India's largest corporate philanthropy known for its large footprint in rural transformation and farm-based interventions, and at Aga Khan Foundation, a part of a global network of private, philanthropic agencies, Prasann developed a deep understanding of how corporate and philanthropic donors plan and execute their work and measure its impact. Earlier, his hands-on training at Nielsen, the world leader in research and information services, and a 5-year stint in governments of two major Indian states - Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh - also added to his understanding of the development eco-system. Prasann holds PG Diploma in Rural Management from IRMA and is based in Noida, NCR.
